I would like to ask a simple question - which species stand up to 'full sun' in our Australian summer

I can start the list with ficus, banksia and bouganvillea.
Cheers,
Pasquale
Agreed, wind is the killer and can dry out a tree very quickly. If you keep the water up to them they will thrive in full sun. Most of my trees live in full sun and one watering a day. Two if it is going to be a scorcher.Mojo Moyogi wrote:. In Melbourne you can grow most trees well in full sun if you have the time to be there whenever watering is required and can minimise wind exposure.
