Re: Is it going to die
Thats a good question mate haha
I guess it depends on what type of tree it is
I will assume that it's a ficus judging by your name and forum
And it will depend on the size of pot it's in?
If its in a lage training pot your chances have improved
Is it in the sun?
If it were mine and I had no one to water a bonsai of mine
I would
Move it into a cool and shady place in a deep tray of water
This will stop it drying out
You can also leave a drink bottle with a tiny hole in it which will
Leak water slowly over the next day or so that will stop drying out
A thick layer of wet much can be added to the top which will help
Or use a watering system
Hope this helps
Cheers

Re: Is it going to die
I am more concerned about you than the Bonsai, FB101.
You do know you are in the Top End right?
You do realise it is January?
You do know January is the heigth of the WET Season?
And you are going Camping?
Last place I'd be going at this time of the year. Mate, the Winnellie, the Frontier or the Berrimah would be far better places to be at this time of the year - and if you don't go at lunch time you could even take your tree with you.
