When you finished repotting it did you soak it in a dunk tank?

If yes did you use any root stater or seasol in the water?

What kind of mix is it in ? And how much of the roots did you lose when you repotted ? They lool like the big leaves you get when it rains a lot. I wouldn't worry about it yet - they often wilt a bit after repotting.

Sick boug help plz

When you treated with line sulphur what concentration did you use, did you water it after or when was the next time you watered and did you water the leaves or just the soil surface.

I nearly lost a boug my idiotically watering the whole tree right after I used like sulphur to treat some dead wood. Smashed the roots and took about 4 months for it to shoot again.

If you have burnt the roots with limesulphur I would recommend heavy watering to get rid of it and shade.

I had to give it a fair bit of a root trim I drenched it with seasol but I didn't dunk it,,about the lime sulphur I didn't apply it on the soil only lightly sprayed the leaves,as for the soil it's a pretty good free draining mix I gave them another soak of seasol today and put them under shade

Just keep up the water and it should be OK. I am finding a good mix I am just starting to use is sieved diatomite, zeolite and scoria. The particles would be 4mm + and the bougs seem to love it. I find they don't like a smaller particles which seems to keep too much moisture :2c:

I have all my Bougs in Diatomite / Zeolite (2/3-1/3)
2 - 7mm for everything :-)

I just water with seasol mix every 2 - 3 days from a watering can for about 1 month after repotting. You can soak if you want to tho if you prefer.

Sick boug help plz

Post by Gareth »

Hi Jose,

No I meant did you water the leaves AFTER applying the lime sulphur to the leaves so that it then ran onto the soil and into the pot?

This would mean that it would then come into contact with the roots and is not something you want to do.
