Hi sorry I'm a newbie and have no idea :(
Could anyone tell me if these brown spots on my leaves are anything to worry about ?
There only on a fraction of the lower leaves.
Any advice would be great

Most maples are looking like yours at this time of the year. Sunburn, hot winds and dry conditions can cause the leaves to look a bit sad.
Keep the water up to the tree and you can pinch off any unsightly leaves.
