I have added an PDF file showing a raft I am attempting. Has anyone tried an olive cutting of this size?

Re: My Unusual Raft
You could have cut it in half with a chainsaw and had two opposite rafts!
interested to see if this works!

Thanks everyone for your comments. Jarrod, I have seen that done with rafts. I didn't think of it at the time. Ah well there's always another time.

Re: My Unusual Raft
Hi all,
I thought it was time for an update on what happened to the raft.
I have cut the trunks several times and this is the new growth at the moment. I have wired many of the trunks to start and get them going in the direction I want.
Still lots to do but the project has worked so far. Looking at the first pictures and the growth now is very encouraging.
Regards Ray

Re: My Unusual Raft
That is encouraging growth, looks like a start to a real interesting raft. Never would have thought of that myself, but I'm glad to see it works. Now to find a suitable cutting for my own project . . .
Cheers, Karl
