Ideas please

Post by Damian79 »

Hi guys,
This is a privit that I just got from MattA (thanks again Matt)
C1[1].jpg
There is a large natural hollow going up th middle of the trunk but because of the way the tree has grown its hard to see it from the side.
C4[2].jpg
So I was thinking of carving into the side to reveal the hollow and using one of the back shoots as a leader to build on.
These are a couple of ideas I had.

Please feel free to comment or post another idea. Im open to suggestions

I like your first Idea, but the tail is too long

I like the second virt, but with the long tail of the first virt and the apex leaning more to the right, just to give the composition balance. Some very nice stock to play with

I like the first one, but agree with Ken tail is too long, shorten it and then curve it back towards the tree a little
