Definitely has petals and definitely not puffy like a wattyl! =D.
There are many ways to do things, but only one "best" way.

Hack, the above link will show u a flower similar to the ones on my little shrub. Except mine r smaller and less petals I believe.
Thanks for posting

I too thought Genista and Cytisus spp but the leaf was all wrong which was why I asked earlier if it had a pea (legume) shaped flower. Glad you got to the bottom of it.
Don't know why you can't find Cytisus. .https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Cyti ... mgWD_4CgDw

Keep up the good work!
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Dont laugh... I thought i was meant to search both at once... Thinking that Cytisus is a third denomination of the Genista species haha.. Genista it is though and my apologies for the misinformation mate, i remembered them as having petals for some odd reason.. it takes knowledge to answer a q, but effort to research one. Really appreciate it hackHackimoto wrote:I too thought Genista and Cytisus spp but the leaf was all wrong which was why I asked earlier if it had a pea (legume) shaped flower. Hi Moganic Genista and Cytisus are very closely related. If you google ' Broom (shrub) wiki has good info on it.
