Beckea from seed?

Curious to know if anyone has grown these from seed? They look like a fantastic species for bonsai (I've seen some amazing photos on this forum, mostly from Pup), but I can't find any locally, so I'm contemplating trying to grow some from scratch. Also, if you know of a source for seed please share!

Have no idea how successful from seed, but totally agree that they make magic Bonsai.
I have one I will be displaying in some shows in the next month, and another 2 in the ground

The genus Baeckea has been revised (by a 'splitter' botanist) and has been divided into several genera. Your nurseries may have updated their labels to reflect the new names. Some of the ones we grow as bonsai are now called Babingtonia. Other genera are: Ochrosperma, Triplarina, and Euryomyrtus. A few are still Baeckea. Most of the species previously known as Baeckea germinate easily from seed without any pretreatment. I have them coming up in pots all around any that have been allowed to flower and ripen seed. The biggest problem is collecting ripe seed. The pods open at maturity and drop the seed so collectors need to be on the spot at the right time to get seed.
