Hey Guys,
I came across some jacaranda seeds down here in melbourne. Im curious? would i be ok to plant them for germination now? As i read somewhere that they prefer the rainier season to provide better conditions for germination?

If I wanted J's I would plant now, March.
They come up wild in Brisvagas.
They are long term bonsai projects and like a hotter climate than Victoria.
They flower on new wood so they have to be big and very old for flowers.
They look like palm trees in a pot, from a distance.
They are best clip and grow and will just grow straight up. Keep nipping out the growing tip to bush them up.
The compound leaf will reduce if you cut back to the last two branchlets.
Grow something that will do better in the cold, try a camelia.
