Thanks Damian, I have no idea of what I really have to play with until I dig in spring 
Paul, the mother plant was labelled dwarf variegated pussywillow from Ray Nesci and this is the best match I found, I would be very happy to know of its real ID if its not what I think, here's a better pic of the foliage to help.

Don't think it's against the rules, unless its been trained. Clip and grow maybe? In my opinion, half the challenge is finding good starting material, but if there is no price limit then I don't think digging from you're own garden is unfair.MattA wrote:Withdrawn.
