Not necessarily my favourite but the closest to resembling bonsai.

My benji forest/clump. Not looking the best atm after a full season of neglect but the frame is there for something unorthidox and special, pic taken in summer:

I like this little crepe myrtle the best. It's had some dieback but has sprouted new buds where the old branches were. Fantastic trees, crepes.

Can you explain the rock addition Neli?
Have you simply moulded / made a rock to suit your trunk?
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Yes...I just molded the rock around the roots so they can still grow...but need to modify the rock a bit and make it better. One more thing...I planted it upside down to get it like this and then planted it back normal again. All the roots were up...so I just put soil and moss around.

Obviously this is not one of mine. Belongs to Peter at Bonsai Emporium in Perth. It was collected from a farm in Harvey, pot is nearly 1.5m long and 900mm wide. This is my inspiration!
