Castle Hill Show

Post by kcpoole »

At a loose end for something to do this weekend?
maybe you should go to the Castle Hill Show and have a look at the Bonsai On Display.
Ray Nesci is there all weekend working on trees and discussing Bonsai with the public, and there should be some real nice trees to look at and lots more to do besides.

Thanks Ken! You're a lifesaver! Went in bright and early and set up her tree... she was too asleep to be bothered assisting...
what a lovely set up, great trees, I am now inspired to get something together for next year... I'll be braver by then.

Here is my daughter's contribution:

and here is a link to the tree a little earlier in the year (down the bottom):

Well Not long got home from the show and a great day it was and a great display for the public
Lots of really positive comments and interest which is awesome :-)

I entered 5 trees this year, and got a second place for 3 of them :-) :tu:

Hope those that went enjoyed themselves, and will all enter a tree or 2 next year.
I forgot to add, there is a special section for Junior artists, and please to say there was about 6 trees in that section  :tu:
