Eucalyptus erythrocorys

Purchased today from Zanthorrea Nursery in Perth
It is 500mm tall
And it cost me $16.95
From what I've read on Eucs, they are extremely hard to take root from cuttingslackhand wrote:As long as you've picked a tree that responds well to chopping, then don't worry about it. Look on the bright side - chop + cutting = 2 trees from 1! In another year or two, they might both be great bonsai, and if you're just starting it never hurts to have a few more to work on.
This just goes so well with your signature: "How can you ever succeed if you are afraid to fail?"Bebbas wrote:Chopped. Please come back.....
The leaves are quite large on them, as are the flower pods as well, but the leaves may reduce... I've never really seen if they do or notBebbas wrote:Update
Well,it survived the chop so I am still in the game. I took a couple of small early shoots off because they werent playing the game correctly and coming out where I wanted them but the ones now are pretty good. Just letting it do whatever it wants at the moment as the growing weather isnt all that good. The leaves are a bit big but I will worry about that a little later.I just need some good branching at this point.
Oh the pressure
