This was about 2/3rds through the second day.

What happened next will be revealed late Thursday. Stay tuned.

Watching is space and having spent time with yusuke, I wonder why it is rare that Aussie clubs bring Japanese professionals out here to teach and demonstrate. As far as im concerned, Yusuke's skills are at least parallel with every major demonstrator that I have seen here in Australia in the past 5 years.

I'm so excited that he is here in Australia and as an expert, he is willing to share every ounce of his knowledge with anyone willing to listen.

The bonsai community should embrace this very rare chance to improve on our skills and knowledge.

Hopefully we will see plenty more of is in the year to come!

Agreed Adam, and the more exposure Yusuke gets the more he is in demand.

I'd like to see Yusuke and others making regular trips to Australia many years into the future.

Thanks for posting the progress Grant, I am just sorry I can't be there to watch it live.

Good on Australian Bonsai for embracing Yusuke's knowledge the more this takes place, the better Aussie Bonsai will become :aussie:

Oichi! Totally know that guy - absolute genius.

When I say know, I've watched him work on some trees at another nursery. I learned a lot from watching too!

Just means I'm looking forward to the update tomorrow even more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He loves his Kuromatsu and really knows how to work them! I actually didnt like JBP for a while but then I saw some he'd worked on and realised what is achievable!!

Also a big thank you to you, Grant, for sharing this journey with us.
