I ask lots of questions that sound like suggestions. Please remember I am a inquisitive newbie trying to figure out why You made a particular decision, in order to learn.

Re: [Neli] Juniper chinensis
So far I chopped it...and identified some branches....more than needed, since I had some branches die before...when I was using steel wire
So if they all survive I might remove some.
Need to bent the trunk too..
Which will mean removing all the little wires I used to wire the branches...

Again I have no idea how to bend it since I have no branches on one side...but the bend for now is in that direction....No idea what to do...hopes for new branches on the side with no branches are very slim.
It is not easy to be a newbie...But I learned something from this also.
Since I took this picture...I have changed the front again...but did not remove any branches...So need to take a picture of that too.
Every day I look at them for hours, and question the decisions I have made to date.
There is a huge escape branch at the base...and the top 3 branches will be shari...I have since wired them and want them to grow, so they dont look like worms when I cut them...and they will help to thicken the trunk too.
I have selected a leader and wired it up with some movement...left it to grow freely.

So if they all survive I might remove some.

Re: [Neli] Juniper chinensis
It has grown a lot while I was away. Now that I know a bit better how to deal with junipers I decided to chop half of it and give it some taper and movement.
There is a reason behind the madness. Lets hope it will be shown later. All the top branches will be sharied, i wired them and want them to thicken.

Re: [Neli] Juniper chinensis
Wrong kind of junper foliage. Very hard to compact.
