The big stump is a big Fuchsia the owner has just pruned it back she said its been there for 20 plus yrs gave it a drink of seasol will collect soon i think not much imformation on them that i can find but have done google search an found some nice trees. there is live veins on every trunk on this tree i think its got good potential the dead wood is hard so dosent seem to rot in a hurry will lime sulfur to make sure tho.
the other tree is a quince about 20cm across the base

OC what I'm really interested in, with the amount of enormous crazy trees you collect, is how on earth you get permission from your wife!? Would love some tips here.

Re: Two more trees to be collected :)
A few weeks on an ive got good shoots , was lucky with this tree as it was growing in a raised garden bed that was very narrow so was able to get a lot of feeder roots. Early days yet as some trees can still go backwards from here but
its looking good so far.
