Hi David. Sorry don't have one. But I'm Interested in why you want this species? You live in sydney, pjs are everywhere. Does the Chinese banyan have something the pj fig doesn't?

That is a rather good point, DustyRusty.

Cheers,

Are you saying the PJ and Chinese Banyan fig are exactly the same? No leaf or colour difference in anyway?

Hi David. Not saying that at all. There would be differences. I'm asking what advantages the Chinese banyan has over the pj. In genuinely interested because I don't grow CBs. But I freakin love pjs and from looking at the pictures much prefer the look of them to the CBs. Plus they are perfect for a sydney climate.

Hi
Sorry if it seemed I took that the wrong way I didnt :)

The PJ's are great trees but once I saw a few CBs at a local Bonsai nursury and fell in love with them, I noticed a little differnece in colour in the trunk and leaves also leaf shape. Theres not big differences in them but I guess I like to be different :)

yep, that's fair enough. CBs have a whiter trunk from memory and more curled leaves. As i said, i prefer our PJ

But if you're really after one, I'd visit Ray Nesci's. He has a lot of different varieties and I'd expect that he'd have those too. All the best.
