Hi all,
Is there a general amount of time you should leave a tree out of the sun for after a repot ?
I repotted a few junipers 3-4 weeks ago & have had them in full shade since but would like to get some sun onto them given the sun doesn't have much bite anyway in Melbourne.

Any advice would be great

My junipers and pines all go straight back in the sun after repotting.
That's a pretty broad question. Depends on type of tree, time of year, other after care. If your junis are in full shade they might need to be brought out slowly. When I repot I usually put them in part shade so they get some sun each day. Natives tend to go out to fun sun fairly quickly. This time if year as you say the sun doesn't have much kick so after 4 weeks shouldn't be a problem, just keep an eye on the watering and don't let them dry out. Some trees I gave in part shade is more about not letting them dry out than keeping them out of the sun. If I could water more regularly they would be on the bench with the rest. It could also depend on how many roots were pruned. If hard root pruning was done they will take longer to take up water again so need more care.
I usually put most trees back out after 2-3 weeks no worries
