Neglected old Privet

Post by iliya »

I picked up this neglected Privet the other day, Its root bound and struggles to allow water in.
the plan is to re-pot it when the time is right and cut back the die back that has occurred with the fine branching.
Once its regained some vigour I will wire it to get some shape back into it.

Where did you "pick this one up" from?

Looks like a nice tree with a bright future.

Keep us posted on the progress.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
