ID needed

ID needed

I found this plant today, it looks to have shot from a root of an adjacent tree about 4 meters in height and about 60cm in diameter.
I dont have pics of the tree or collected plant as yet just the leaves.
I can get some pics of the tree tomorrow if needed.
Is this a weed or a native?

Crowie, im not 100%, but it may be a Lilac tree (Syringa spp), they have purple flowers i think. Craig

they do kinda look like lilac. but i dont think it is.

pretty sure its a melia azedarach, persian lilac, white cedar, chinaberry. native to southern china, india and australia. :D

i think it is called Koelreuteria paniculata or golden rain tree

I agree hoang golden raintree I have quite a few in my front yard there seeds are great germinaters I hit seedlings in the mower all time. :shake:
