Hi bonsaiers I thought I would try here before the dreaded eBay to sell this unique piece. It is a gold coated tin inlaid art vase from the kamjove collection-for more info see following link:
http://www.kamjove.com/E-kamjove/product3/KJ-6880A.htm
I thought I would give forumers the chance as I know a lot of bonsaiers also collect/display Asian art/antiquities.
I have no idea of its value (only worth what someone is willing to pay right!)
I am happy for offers of $$ or swap for bonsai/s.
I've never seen another piece like this and believe they are quite rare.
I can post at buyers expense or arrange for pickup around Sydney area.
Feel free to ask any questions.

[SELL/SWAP] Chinese art vase
I've found out a few more tidbits about this...
"This is a set which was given to the state guests of the people's republic of China. Hand crafted by some of the best and top-level artists. These are very unique, rare and hard to find works of art, usually presented to imperial or of very importance people.
These were not made for the public but for special people on special occasions only"
