Hi Neli , totally agree with you on the straight sections .I need to put a few more sling's on those 2 leaders and get some sideways movement or let it grow on and cut back to a side branch . There is not a great deal of root mass to speak of , I don't know if that's normal or from my neglect .

A lot of bark/segment splitting took place just lifting the lower branches which are thinner so i don't want to push the thicker leader too much as i lost some 20mm upper branches from my last persuasive exercise . Plenty of time required on this trunk to get the results needed .
