Radiata twin trunk

This is a Radiata ( twin trunk Bunjin ) it was styled about 5 years ago with a great deal of the work done by Jow ,I have just re wired it using copper wire.

Nice tree.... Just my 2c have you ever thought of cutting the lowest left branch off? Either way wish I had one like that!

Nice material John.
I would have to agree with Matlea about removal of the bottom left branch, it would be an improvement in my eyes.

I love it, although i tend to agree about that lower branch. Either way its a lovely bunjin.

Yep, too many branches; on both trees.

Cut it off and maybe also the left hand most portion of that tree as well. Could also bend down more the lower tree as well.

Then we can see the taller trunk more clearly.

Hi John,

Lovely looking Pine, I love the bark on it. Before writing off the lower branches, would it be possible to see it from a better viewing angle as the photo seems to be taken a little too close to the tree and you're looking down on it. I wonder if you are growing that lower section with the intention to jin them in a few years time once thickened.

Would love to see pic from just above pot level. Very nice tree with great potential in a few years when the pads develop a little more

I personally feel that the main tree is a little too busy in the branch department and I can see a couple that I would also remove on the lower tree, but I wouldn't be in a rush to do so.
However if you keep the lowest left branch on the smaller trunk I would only keep the two branches that move to the left and chop the others

A very fine composition indeed, with good strong movement all the way out to the ends of the branches.

I understand the reservations that people have about the lower left branches, they are longer, thinner, straighter and more bare than the upper branches, but it would be a big decision to lose them. Would you consider getting a couple of sharper angles into each of them? All the higher branches are strongly angulated at some point.

I have done some more work on this tree will post pics tomorrow at this stage the bottom drop branch will stay with some refinement thank for all the input.
