Rather than dump it in the bin, why not think about reomoving the plant from the bonsai pot? You then have a nice pot you can use for another plant. With the succulent; I think it's a crassula, plant it in a plastic pot perhaps and ... wait

well maybe that would be a way to go. im not a big fan of succulents. yeah might plastic pot it.
