New pot for this tree, a Steve Cummins pot.
A smaller, shallower pot to try and emphasize the trunk and roots.
And yes I repotted it in winter. At the moment it is inside and was growing already despite the cold temps outside. It will stay inside till about mid October when the outside overnight temps have warmed up a bit.
My puppy( well an 11 1/2 year old Red Cattle dog) managed to snap off a branch last year but it was then cut and sealed (by me, not the dog of course) and is budding nicely.
