[ID] Would I be right in guessing these Natives are...

Would I be right in guessing that these are a form of Acacia? Below are some pics I took this morning of a tree, Flowers, etc.
These are all over he property as well.
Has anybody had any experience in training them as bonsai.. i.e: Digging, Disturbing the roots, Cutting the Trunk, etc. If so any help would be appreciated.

Bearing in mind that I am in Gladstone, Central Queensland.

Looks like a member of Fabaceae family but that's as far as it goes for me

It could be a viminaria junecea which is commonly known as golden spray. Native broom, which is part of the fabacea family. If so it an erect shrub or tree with a slender cylindrical trunk and either erect or drooping prickly branchlets and a sparse crown. It is known to grow in your area. Mia

Also look up Jacksonia scoparia and related species. There are a few things it could be.

It could be worth following this key. Although it was developed for NSW species, there is likely some crossover.

Hi guys,

I still don't think it's a Viminaria, which has a different flower shape (the wings completely cover the keel). It naturally grows in quite an erect habit and in swamps by the coast. It certainly does not naturally occur as far north as Gladstone.

Gavin, If you want a positive ID down to species level (or even genus) you will need to cut a flower off by cutting the main stem just above and below where the flower stem attaches to it and photograph the flower from all angles. I'm happy to key it out from there. Keep in mind that Viminaria thrives in wet soils which is not common for peas so getting the proper ID could be important for cultivation if you wish to grow this species.
