It may be nothing to worry about.
Cold weather will do that to some varieties, some are even semi or fully deciduous like the kiusianums. Many Satsuki, Kurume and hybrids have colour change in the old leaves over the colder months making them look purple or red or yellow, these are usually replaced by new foliage when it gets warmer.
It may also be a nutrient problem too depending on the colour and the way it is displayed on the leaves.
Its best to post a picture to be sure

I have a rhodo with purple leaves and I love the look. Don't know it I should be worried or not?

I have some Satsuki in the garden and they are purple too, they will green up once they kick on thru spring.
