Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition
Australia's smallest bonsai society (probably?) is holding its annual exhibition again this year. Set aside Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2013 for your day out in Goulburn.
This year we will be hosting Penny Davis of Mudlark Pottery with her hand-made one off bonsai pots (and a few other things as well) so all visitors will be able to buy a unique pot for their champion bonsai.
There will also be a sales table, demonstrations and a bonsai clinic.
This exhibition is held in conjunction with the Goulburn Lilac City Festival so there will be activities for all age groups in the park adjacent to the exhibition hall.
The location the CWA Rooms, cnr of Sloane and Montague Streets Goulburn. Open from 10:00am on Saturday and Sunday.
Seeya there!

Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition
Hi Watto,
I think Albury Wodonga bonsai society would challenge your group for the smallest club but what we lack in numbers we make up for with enthusiasm.
Brave move putting on your show same weekend as Canberra Bonsai show...... Or maybe enthusiasts can get a double dose and see 2 shows on 1 weekend - not that far apart in distance
Unfortunately I will be stuck at Canberra Bonsai show all weekend on the Shibui sales table

I think Canberra Bonsai show is on 12th-13th October Neal. Perish the thought that we would think of competing with Watto - we'd never hear the end of it!

Neil,
If you are going to be in Canberra on that weekend you may as well come to Goulburn to set up your sale table as I think the Canberra show is on the weekend after ours. But I better check.

I hope to see you setting up in Melbourne on 5th & 6th of October for the BSV show
I did attend the Goulbourn show a few years ago and combined a trip to Canberra to visit the arboretum. It was a great day.

Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition
I hope to make it in for a look this year on the Saturday, still haven't managed to catch up with a club meeting, usually conflicts with other commitments, so I'm looking forward to it. Off to put it on the calendar now,
Jan.

Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition
We hope everyone comes and enjoys the day.
I understand that there will be a few trees for sale from previous local digs, many shohin size, so if you haven't made it to a dig come along and get one that has been dug for you.
