juniper problem?

hi all, i have noticed in the past 2 weeks i am getting these little white tips on the ends on my juniper and im not sure if its new growth or scale. can anyone help me?
the photos might not be the best if not i can repost a larger photo if needed :)

I've a few documented threads of panic for my Juniper.
One that i wish to provide a happy update for right now.

Onto your treei think it looks very healthy and that this is just new growth about to pop.
Note that the white dots are currently near to the most advanced bud and are therefore more likely to pop first.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Either a new shoot, or the shoot has been cut and it is colouring and callousing over?

It's not quite clear in the pics but I suspect those are flower buds. Mine also start to produce these little cones in spring.

yes they are flower buds. Its a sign the tree is starting to grow.
