My repurposed bench

Post by Isitangus »

The other day I noticed the local gym getting rid of a bunch of equipment, and saw this...
Image it is/was an old dumbbell rack. $40 later and a mate with a ute and it was home with me.
Some satin black rust guard paint, few pieces of Blackbutt decking, and some re-arranging and this is the finished piece.

Not the biggest bench but for grand total of $60 it should last a while! For the record it's 1.46mtr long.

Now for those that are interested I think the gym is selling off another one. Image not sure of price but can enquiry if anyone's interested.

Absolute legendary idea and well executed..

** Slinks off to scour ebay for gym sets **
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
