Sad about the juniper John.
Are you aware of the Canberra Bonsai Society show next month? October 12 and 13. Great opportunity to get hold of stock, inspiration and ideas. There is a club trading table and a couple of commercial vendors selling trees and pots? Someone will no doubt start posting reminders soon but more info from the club website http://www.cbs.org.au/exhibition/
Best to get there early because the best stuff gets sold pretty quick. See you there?

The Goulburn Bonsai Society also has a show on, the week before the Canberra show that will have a quantity of stock available. I understand that most of their stock is from digs conducted over the past few years so there should be some interesting stuff available. But again, the best stock usually goes early.
