Big repot again today 3 hr job! Another reason you dont want too many big trees. This was a root wrap job so it is time to address this while i have lots of growing on to still do. I decided on using the tooth pick method except that on a big arse base like this you need to use skewers. The roots are way to fleshy and tender and i just dont trust the plug graft. We shall see next year??? 8-) 8-) 8-)

Update some new roots and so tried some drill and plug this year. It has grown strongly but recently fallen to powdery mildew ( I think ). I have treated twice with an antifungal. :tu:

Thanks for your interest Jezz , Such a drool it is !!! Its not quite naked yet, only a peep show at the moment. It has come a long way, i hope to do some extensive work on it as soon as it drops all its leaves will then post !!! :tu: :tu: :tu:
