Looks like a variety of Crassula Ovata I think
Not the 'best' for bonsai, as they have a larger leaf, but can definately be done. Thats all I've got on them as bonsai
I've got a few going as I liked the colour on them, the red tinge looked really cool. Still not sure whether I'll bonsai them or not though. Very easy to strike from cutting, I took a few from my dad's place, and dropped a couple in the sand next to the driveway on the way out... Went back the next week, and the ones I'd dropped had all struck lol Also, if you put it out in full sun, that red tinge will become a lot more prominent
