Re: Problems with site?
Hi all,
There does seem to be some sort of issue with the site as the loading times are pretty bad, it will take anything from 30 seconds to 2 minutes for a thread to open up after clicking on the link. The delay is the same on either the mobile or PC.
Before someone suggests to clean the cache and cookies, they get removed weekly and every other site I goto works fine and loads up immediately so its not that.
I do not know what is causing this so cannot offer any possible remedy, but hope that it will sort itself out because it is quite painful in waiting up to 2 minutes to read a thread.
Cheers
David

Re: Problems with site?
Yep.
There is little doubt that an issue exists.
Same symptoms as above.
I will add that sometimes pages load at a quicker pace but sadly more often than not it is very very ssssslllllooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Re: Problems with site?
This problem is now more than a little annoyance. As each time I have to log on it takes another 25 seconds to get to the Board. Then when you wish to read or reply it takes any where between 20 to 45 seconds.
After taking any where between 60-120 seconds I give up. All we can hope for is that something is done soon, otherwise whats the point.
I do enjoy the site and would be dissapointed if it stays this way, as I would seriously think of not bothering, because of the time spent trying to access it.
A dissapointed Pup
ps no problems any where else.

Re: Problems with site?
G'day everyone,
I am aware there is a problem with lagging and I haven't been able to rectify it with reboots and purging the cache.
Gocny who is the technical brains behind the operation is is Japan for another week so unfortunately there isn't a fix until he gets back.
Thanks,
Steven

It is like slow motion most of the time, in fact so slow I am hesitant to use the site.

Definitely better on tapatalk. I couldn't post 6 times in a row off tapatalk yesterday, but now it's way faster and if this post gets through, yippee! Thanks for fixing it.
