Re: Olive for sale
Thankyou everybody for your input it has been very informative, I believe that this olive may vary in value according to region but thats all relative, I have offered the tree in question to cricklewood for an agreed price by PM.

Re: Olive for sale
I pretty much agree with what JayC reckons, but that also depends on what sort of root system it has
Does it have nice radiating roots? or are they a just a clump on one side or a tangled mess?
If the former then yes app$150+ if the latter then less.

Re: Olive for sale
hi guys, I like the way jayc has summarised this tree & the discussions. I believe that you have all had great input for the tree & its owner. I've sold a few olives over the years, & my value was $150. As was said, you need good stock to build good trees. congratulations. dave.

Re: Olive for sale
Hi, I was the successful purchaser of the above mentioned olive. I picked it up today and was very pleased with my purchase.
My two years experience playing with sticks in pots does not extend to shaping a tree of this size.
How about some advice from you legends out there who will know what to do? I have read your posts and am in awe of the knowledge you have. So any advice on how I should begin?
One other thing....everyone says feed olives.....with what ? There is an image of the tree in ozzy's first post if you have any virtual ideas. Hopefully, cricklewood
