Was worth the time spent 7 plants $25=00.
All natives Here they are. All of these are destined to become Shohin or Mame.

We were asked to let people know they are welcome, in the week also.

Hi Pup,

That casuarina is a great score and if its possible, in time would love to see a progression of where you take it. Those trees for that price, the beers 'n bourbon would taste just that bit sweeter tonight after that.

Cheers

We all had a fantastic time at the nursery yesterday. :hooray:
So many interesting plants, even those that hadn't come intending to buy anything went home with something. The nurseryman was so happy for us to come by, and taking plants he might have thought were no good because they were wonky or stumpy. Oh yes, some had amazing movement!
I saw many a full trolley, including mine! The hawthorns were disappearing, but I left at 12 and he still had some, so if you are after one get down there during the week and snatch it up before it disappears! Don't forget to go up the back, he has some giant liquidamber in bags that are stunning. And bigger trees up there, lots of large natives. Its a paradise!
I am not exactly sure when he is moving (mid nov ish), but I would suggest that if you didn't get a chance to go down yet, make the time during this week. I have a feeling some of the ones good for bonsai may just end up in a skip...
Now I've got a whole heap of plants I want to get stuck into, but the weather means it wont be this weekend. Curses. :x

Jason - Yay! You will have a great time. Don't forget to grab a hawthorn.

Slothman - Their internet was cut by a bright spark digging nearby, so they don't have emails. Google their phone number and give them a call. Maybe if a friend can pick them up for you and look after them until you can get up here. Its worth a try :)
