Hello,
Just finished moving house again (well sort of) lots of boxes and sorting out to do...
I've manage to scope out the garden for locations to plant some trees to get things started again though. Some how there's always time for Bonsai.
This tree is in the area where i want to plant and I was looking for some assistance to Identify. Thinking I might be able to chop it back hard and then remove at some stage or use for Air Layers.
Cheers,
Rick

Re: [ID] Ficus?
HI, Yes it is a Ficus, most probably Ficus rubiginosa or Ficus obliqua. I would expect the former. If you air layer it and chop it down in sections you will get back-budding, more trees and keep the base growing properly. Ash

Thanks Ash. Looking at the leaf size I'd have to go with a PJ also. Guess I'll be starting some air layers this weekend.
