Man I second that request, as NQ'ers we don't get many shows to go to.
I would love to see one in Cairns and would certainly try and get there, maybe bring a tree.

Hi,

Yes the Cairns Bonsai Show is on the first weekend in November - Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of November at the Groves Street CWA Hall, Cairns. Please check out the CBS facebook page closer to the date for some finer details. There will be tree sales, pot sales, wire and tools, a bonsai display and introductory demonstrations. Also note that the same weekend (by accidental clash) is the Townsville Bonsai Show open on Saturday 1st at the Orchid Society Hall on Charles Street, Kirwan. If you want a bonsai show and driving marathon your could come north and visit two shows in the one weekend!
