Thought I better post a photo of this juniper. I don't know if I'm doing this correctly, but the growth appears slow to me. Anyway, it is progressing and I hope it will continue to do just that.

Thanks Ken, maybe I worry too much. You can see some subtle changes, but from May 2013 to now not a lot has happened. I sometimes wonder why we often tell beginners to get a juniper to start?

The June photo. I have exposed a bit more of the nabari and put a bit more wire on.

Yep tend to agree with you, but over the years they tend to live along time and changes are subtle. I still love'm though. Watto your little bloke has come a fair way, just look back over your posted pics, see what you think, you'll be surprised

Well, time for my final photos for the comp.
This bonsai has continue to improve in my opinion and is now able to be exhibited. I still need to do a lot of work over the coming years and that will include lowering the first branch, thining and shortening the second branch, filling in the gap in the apex on the right hand side and of course the usual re-potting, fertilizing and watering - and the occassional spray to keep the baddies at bay. I do like the fresh "redish" colour of the bark and the nabari and fully intend to show this in a seven point shohin display - soon.
