Hi Ez, Mate if it was me that olive would be put in the garden and the fruit enjoyed in years to come,generally it is the "wild olive' that is collected due to
more advanced size,basal flare,bark maturity and smaller leaf size. Last time I was in Headland I didn't see any wild olives growing around the place,but
I did notice the place is loaded with Bougainvillea which would be a good path to follow.
If in Perth send me a PM and we'll find you an olive stump to take home.

Ok, didn't know that. Collecting wild olives, I thought, was a cost saving idea.

Last time I was in Headland I didn't see any wild olives growing around the place,but I did notice the place is loaded with Bougainvillea which would be a good path to follow.

Yes, I have been thinking about that. Personal experience up here is that they are hard to kill!! May very well be an advantage to me, lol.
