[SOLVED] Identify this tree please

Post by Neverenoughtrees »

Hi All,

I saw this tree in a kind lady's front yard, told her I was keen to acquire it. Made her an offer but she refused to take money for it, said I was free to take it. Saaweet I thought. Will have to drop a fruit cake on her next time I'm in her area.

Amazing what you can get when you ask nicely.

Can anyone identify this tree please?

It looks to be a form of ficus benjimina. They come with either green leaves or with white around the edges as your is. Not sure on the exact varient.

Yes it's a variegated benji - I do find them to be not as vigorous as the green leaf variety
