Robinia pseudoacacia Lace Lady airlayer
G'day .Today i checked some of my airlayers . This one I removed . This one is the first one I have removed where I put the sphagnum moss through a blender first . I found it really easy to get the moss off the roots , basically I just hosed it off .

Wow, I love "lace lady". It is a wonderful tree. Great result on the air layer. How long did you leave the layer on for, when did you do the layer. Please keep us posted on its development.
Cheers
Josh.
Cheers
Josh.

Hi Josh . I set the layer sometime in October . We have had a lot of spring and summer frosts up here this year . The tree got hammered a few times . It only leafed out just after Christmas . I reckon it would be a lot quicker in a warmer year . They back bud really easy .
