I've received several PM's about the size of the tables available.
There are 2 sizes, full hexagonal and half hexagonal. Following is a picture of the full showing the dimensions. The half ones are half the size... :lost:
Table with sizes.jpg
10 sellers have booked tables now including Janet Selby who will have her wonderful hand made pots for sale.

Steven

I'M THERE! I'm beginning to run low on pots and I don't particularly want bright blue ones from certain hardware stores, and the garden centre is low on stock  Other than that, I might find some awesome stock :fc:
If a man works on his bonsai alone and speaks, and his wife doesn't hear him, is he still wrong?

Another table booked. One seller is hiring a small truck to get his trees from his house to Auburn on the day.
Looks like I'll be cooking on 2 BBQ's to prepare enough lunch :crikey:

Please help by sharing the attached poster with your bonsai friends or posting it on Facebook.

Thanks,
Steven

:tu: Hi Steven

What a top idea, this will be good for all the people that want to add to & remove from their collections.

Without giving out addresses, for the unwanted collectors that seem to visit only through the night.

While on the subject, not sure if all know about insurance for valable plants that most home insurance companys have as an extension to existing policy's normally at no extra cost.

The only thing is that they must be in pots & photographed in your backyard, bingo how good is that?

Thanks for the tip JC!

We now have 13 sellers with tables confirmed.

Following is a picture from one of the sellers of an old root over rock Trident Maple that he will be selling on the day. It's not dead, it's been defoliated.

There is less than 4 weeks until the market day and we have 15 sellers booked.

My guess is that there will be around 700 trees for sale on the day :crikey:

Hope to see you there :tu:

Steven

Are there any shopping tips for the market day. I am looking at buying 2 - 3 mature trees and a few stock. Also some tools. I don't want to be running back and forth to the car with each purchase and leaving the trees in the hot car. What's the other possibility? Can you pay and mark it as sold and leave it with the seller till you are ready to load up your vehicle. Or should i bring along one of those grocery trolleys.

Also any advise on what tools are absolutely necessary for an absolute beginner.

I've so been dwelling over this problem too. Almost considered removing the roof from my car and replacing it with shade cloth. Wife won't let me though. She doesn't get Bonsai...
