Very Nice Jester. Just did a quick search on this tree. It is a cross between the prunus mume and the purple leaf plum. Very Nice. Can I hit you up for a few cuttings I would like to try this one. :)
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Oooo very nice!! My mum has one of these (I'm not sure on exact species, it's been at the hosue longer than her!!), and it's spectacular. I might put up a pic or two.
I should take a cutting. The only thing I'm a bit worried about is the leaf size?
