Funny as this is a problem I had when first starting to pot up trees. All the trunks were coming out of the pot straight up. As soon as I started planting on a bit of an angle it improved the look of the tree immensely. Funny how we seem to do the same things as humans. Also I first started all my trees in the middle of the pot, then realized they look way better of center. Will be interesting where you take this tree, will be watching with interest. I think it has great potential.

The red line and also a little movement in the left angled trunk. Down a little and some sideway movement.

Would I put the same movement in the left trunk as the red line so it looks balanced or angle it differently?

Im also thinking that this might not be the right pot either if I am to change the angle of the planting. Maybe a cresent shape pot would be more fitting?

No, just a little sideway movement so when you are looking at it from the top it is a little more interesting. left one down a little also. It will need to be raffia'ed or rubber tube, dont try it without. The cambium cracks and the tree suffers.

This is a pick of the underside of the main branch, Would I open the secondary branches up more to create seperate pads or remove some of them altogether?

If you are going to post something , please make it some thing worth while, Not just to get your "posts up" Im presuming to sell some thing on this Forum.
Could Admin please do something about this.

The easiest way to go about it Damian is First clean out the dead and dying/yellowing needles and that includes any new shoots which are forming at junctions of existing branches, right up into the green growth. The only reason to keep those new shoots(on junctions of branches) would be if you want to Replace an existing branch with it. Remove needles from Primary branches and clean the junctions to the secondaries also.

The branch structure looks good on the branch it just need some effort put into it . After cleaning have a Look , it'll look alot better . Then you can selectively remove any other shoots on the branches ( downwards growth, directionally wrong growth) untill it Feels right. Apply some wire to guide your shoots /branches in the direction most desired.

Take your time.

Well after a little bit of work today this is the result.
Once again sorry about the picture quality.

I shortened the the top down and created a jin.
Gave it a good clean up and, I think, I finally understand how to make foliage pads correctly. Well, they are better than they were anyway
And I think this is a better angle for the next repot.
Thoughts?

Looks good mate. Just make sure you have a good look at all angles when re-potting.

Tweak it and tweak it again and you will achieve a good result.

Getting there. you could thin out the lower foliage a little more. maybe select your secondary branches and wire them. On second look it seems like you have done that?
