Also I thought akadama was clay not pumice as stated in the spiel.

I have been using maidenwell this year with encouraging signs.Is this akadama any better?

I use Maidenwell and as soon as I get some Akadama Will be starting a longterm Test

3 trees of Same species of trees and I will Plant 1 in Ray Nescis mix as a control, 1 in My Diatomite/Zeolite mix, and one in Akadama
they will all live together on the same bench and get the same water and fert.
Over the years I will take many photos and document the differences so I will get Definitive results.

I have purchased 9 starters already from Ray to start with NOW. so by the end of Summer I will be able to post the initial results.

Is that 6 bags of Akadama and 3 Kanuma Alan I can't say how long it will take Alan. Sreeve is hoping it will be in time for azalea repotting.
Ok I think that is 93 so close I guess it is little use asking for a smaller order at the moment lets go for the 100 bags.
I think the best way to go is to start the collection process and start to process the order with Arthur.
Most of the earlier participants have some details how this will be carried out I will update all participants with our treasurer and payment details by PM asap.
Our treasurer is also supplying the collection point near Parramatta.
