Something special

Post by kez »

Hey folks,

Just thought I'd share with you all what arrived on my doorstep today courtesy of Steve (happypotter). These are beautiful, and I just hope the trees I have in mind for these pots do them justice. It was a pleasure dealing with Steve, he accommodated all my requests, offered advice based on his extensive experience and crafted two handmade works of art to house two handmade (and in time hopefully art worthy) tree's

pot 1

this pot will house a shohin PJ fig, hopefully potting will be done next summer once the tree has filled in

pot 2

This one is very different as it is a round pot, and will be for a trident maple, a bit further off on the potting as it went back to bare bones this season

I can't recommend Steve and his work highly enough, and anybody who is lucky enough to have some of his pots already will I am sure agree he is a credit to the aussie bonsai scene

It's great to know that you have talented people around that can create something to suit your individual needs (or those of your tree's). It make your art that little bit more special. :-)

Nice work :tu:
