The gates have just opened and the 50 or so buyers who were patiently waiting are not getting first dibs on the hundreds of trees and pots for sale.

1 or 2 pics i took using my phone. Quality isn't too good.

I thought the day was a success. People were still coming when i left. 1 sellers table was sold out. Sellers were more than happy to hold the items for you. Some very well prices items. A few sellers i felt had higher pricing but i am sure they will be reducing these by the afternoon if they don't sell.

Overall great day. Steven

I noticed a large impressive fig tree on my way in and couldn't believe the price tag was only 1000 dollers.
I would have thought it was worth more . Anyone else see it ? It didn't have many branches but the trunk was very nice.

I too enjoyed the day and hope that it will be a regular event. Many thanks to Steven for organizing the day. Very nice to put a face to a name. Came home with three great trees which were very reasonably priced. A very happy bonsai lady today! For all those who couldn't get there I hope you can if it is held again well worth the trip. Great venue too! :aussie:

It was a good day Ken. We should all have met up at a certain time and introduced ourselves maybe next time. I bought a Manchurian Pear, Grouping of Privets and a Sandpaper fig. All a great size and well established. Cost for all was only just over $200 very happy with my purchases. Great day. :tu:

My haul: a semi-cascade pot, a big ugly fig, a medium nice fig, a set of scissors and a casuarina starter. $190 all up. Thanks everyone! And especially to Steven for the day and your two great figs and casuarina at very good prices!
