JBP after some winter work

Post by blkrota »

Hi all , I attened the JBP with Megumi Bennett at terry hills bonsai on Sunday and wanted to share some pics of my pine.
I was only reading info from books and the internet on JBP so i wanted to do a workshop, It was fun and i will attened the next one for spring work.

I potted it up and reduced the needles. i still need to wire the branches. I could only find a 375ml VB for size reference.

Sorry for the dark photo

Hi Len , I have not touched a drop since Febuary when i went to the states, dont know why just see it as pointless and got bored of drinking.
Yea i will be wiring it up soon, I just have to repot and thin out 2 more pines.
Sorry for the lack of info, I dont know how old this tree is.

WOW , i have not been on here for a good year or two.
The level of bonsai in Australia keeps getting better and better from what i can see on AB :tu:

Here is my JBP four years later.
It has put a small amount of weight on and lots of buds closer to the trunk. Cant wait to wire it and push it to be able to display it one day.
Note: zeolite is just for weeding purposes/lazyness. This will be removed when needed.
