Some really nice trees there. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

That clarodendrum looks a lot like one I was going to buy a few years ago from a lovely old man in Brisbane, but he told me it might not do so good in Melbourne so I didn't buy it. Anybody know if it was a tree owned by a Mr Morten from Brisbane? He had the tree for just over 40 years, that was about 2 or 3 years ago.

G'Day HP,
I'm glad I caught you on this forum because I couldn't find your blog even though I followed your instructions to the letter. I wanted to have a look at your phoenix graft pottery with the juniper sargentii attached.
I'm the bloke who was talking to you at the show last Saturday comparing your Lilly Pilly to mine which won people's choice at the Bimer Show. I reckoned your tree was better than mine so in order to show you why I said that I'll post a pic so you can the difference in the styling.
Cheers......Brian

And thanks Boics,
I enjoyed your autumn shot as well. Amazing colour.
And Brian, sorry - really nice tree. I think your variety is a little more amenable to styling than the smithii.
Cheers,
Steve
